Author/Narrator
I know it’s been a while since my last update, so what the heck have I been doing for the last year?!
This.
This is the heck I’ve been doing for the last year.
It’s a little bit of a rollercoaster, so have a watch and let me know what you think!
Hey Josh (I feel like we’re friends), I welcome your books in any format you offer. My only concern is will they be available on kindle? What I like about Kindle besides the portability is that I can enlarge the font. I’m in my 70’s and have a variety of vision challenges. I will however invest in a quality magnifying glass if they only come out in print. So sign me up! I’m ready today! Diane Lutovsky

Diane, anyone who reads my books is a friend of mine! I will definitely make sure the stories come in all formats, so there’ll be an option for ebooks sent to your kindle. And I’ll release them all in the regular ways a little later, so you’ll eventually be able to get them on Amazon as usual!

Hey Josh, I haven’t read anything but the intro blurb you asked me to read at the start of your first book, which lead me to your webpage. I found your book via a Facebook ad. Ian’s long story long feel like I’ve found my next series and I haven’t read any of it yet. What I’m trying to say is you had me at hello. (Is that an old person reference now?)

Ha! If it’s an old person reference, then most of my references are too. Which means the books should go down fairly smooth for you! I hope you dig the stories!

I stumbled upon Etheral Earth, freaking loved it. I got worried when you hadn’t updated in a while so I emailed and man you emailed back right away (to inform me that you unfortunately had not won the lottery), and now I’m here for any book you put out. New Trilogy, sign me up 😀

Let me add to this to say I’d be down for a kickstarter for sure… and also, reach out to author Michael J. Sullivan. You might already know what he’d be able to tell you, but he does a good bit of stuff through kickstarters and I think he self publishes, so he might have some good info.

And I STILL haven’t won the lottery! Or had my superpower awakening, or met a kindly old mentor who turns out to be a god in disguise. Which is annoying. At this point I’m starting to doubt I’m even the protagonist in this story. At the very least I have these new books though, so hopefully they’ll be worth something! 🙂 Thanks again for sticking with me!

I would likely pay extra via a kickstart or whatever for digital books I do not have to purchase through Amazon, (not a fan but unfortunately many authors I enjoy are only available through them). I am also very fond of the idea of a “finished” series. Obviously I enjoy revisiting characters as much as the next guy, but I have still not read Dawn Razed because I feel like Ethereal Earth is at least a deep breath point after the three books.
I actually gave up on a lot of reading after reading A Game of Thrones when it came out in paperback and realized the way a lot of fantasy writing was going was to series that may never end. Some of the other writers I am enjoying now are at least telling long stories in blocks that take a breath every three books or so.
As far as the kickstart goes I do have to mention I am unlikely to interested in hard copies or any kind of swag, I am old enough that if I bring anything else into my life I have to choose what goes away.
Good luck on the lottery and/or superhero powers. But always remember a person is always the protagonist in their own story and I am sure that there are people in your life who see you as a hero in theirs.

You’re definitely right about the “deep breath” aspect of book 3. It’s designed to be a trilogy of trilogies, so that’s a great place to pause. And I’m working on the Kickstarter campaign right now, actually! And I promise there will be plenty of digital and audio rewards for anyone wanting to keep their physical clutter to a minimum. Hopefully every format will have its own fun accompanying stuff!

I found you from and Instagram add and pounded thru all 3 books. Then worked my to here to see what you were working on.
I would be someone that would support you if you gave the Kickstarter route a try.
I’m sure self-publishing has all kinds of challenges, so I hope it doesn’t deter you from any of your creative work. Best of luck, looking forward to seeing what comes next.

Hey, I appreciate that! I’m actually working on the last details of the Kickstarter campaign at this very moment, so there should be an announcement really soon!
